According to Gartner, more than 200 million workers worldwide will use corporate-supplied video conferencing from their desktops by 2015, compared to just 7 million in 2008.

There was a time when video conferencing was limited to the confines of the boardroom. Companies invested large sums of money to install unreliable systems, allowing executives to speak to their counterparts in other boardrooms. This is still the scene that many people visualise when think of video conferencing. However, that has changed in recent years, video conferencing has broken out of the traditional four walls it grew up in and the results are certainly appealing.
